*sigh*

It's pretty sad that I have yet to receive my list of penfriends or that no one has written to me. I was so pumped to start back writing and now, not so much.. I did write a letter and send off an email asking them what was up. I honestly do not expect to hear from them and should just consider my $20 a donation. My first post was March 20, which is when they cashed my check.

I was checking out another club online. They charge $20 as well, but their member list is only 300,000. Doesn't seem like a lot of people for an international club, but if they are better at getting me some names, it might be worth it. I'm gonna think about it.

Will I ever get a list?

At this point I'm thinking NOT.... Woe is me!

No, not yet

I have pretty much reached my breaking point where I give in and write IPF a letter. I am going to wait until April 25. After that, I just can't wait any longer.

Still no list

Well, another week passes and still no list. I read back over the application and it does say it could take up to 4 weeks to process and get the list of names together. So, I will give them another full week. After that I will write them a letter. One of these days I really plan on having something to blog about regarding my pen friends. :D

You guessed it....

NO LIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmmm, maybe no one wants to be my penfriend? Not sure what's going on but I am beyond anxious for my list at this point. The DH tells me today is the day. We'll see...

Thursday and still no list...

I'm beginnging to think IPF hasn't sent me my list because they can't find anyone to be my friend. Gee, how pathetic is that? LOL The hubby said I have to be patient as they are trying to find me the BEST people to be my friends because they know how special I am. Still not sure what he meant by "special". Maybe today?? Gosh, I sure hope so!

Wednesday - No list...

I was disappointed yesterday - no list. I am very, very hopeful today I will get my list of names. Feeling a little down today. Need something to cheer me up and brighten my spirits. Keep your fingers crossed!

Tuesday - and no list

Woe is me. Thought for certain my list would arrive yesterday. Bummer. Maybe today!!

One good thing is a I did find a site online to buy the large envelopes I like that come in many colors. Yippee!

Monday - No list..

Kind of disappointing, but I had other things to keep my busy - like a lousy tootache. Went to bed early anyways. Maybe today!!! ???

No list...

Well, unfortunately my pen friend list did not come over the weekend as I had hoped it would. I did go shopping for paper and envelopes and really didn't find anything I liked. I will tackle that when I get my list of names.

I am not having much luck locating a map with virtual push pins either.. So I might have to get creative with that one. :-)

We'll see what the postman brings me today! Let's keep our fingers crossed!

Just a matter of time..

IPF cashed my $20 check so I might get my list of new pen friends as early as next week! Yippee! I'm so excited!

I picked up a package of my favorite pens. Two black and a package of these colors. I love Flair pens. I think they are the best for letter writing as they show up well on any stationary, do not bleed through paper and I think handwriting looks cool written with them!

Now, I just need to find the right paper and I am set!!!!! Woohoo!!!
